About me:

I am a single, but taken, female in my 30's and living in the Southern region of the US. I am, by passion and profession, a graphic artist. I enjoy most all forms of art including writing, music and other creative outlets.
In addition to poems I write and the occasional inclusions about myself and my personal life, this journal is where I will post my graphic designs, for my personal use/gallery. In this journal, you will have the opportunity to get to know the artist behind the images.

Do NOT steal or otherwise use my personal graphics and icons. I will not hesitate reporting anyone who is using my personal graphics w/o my permission.

I take Requests
By nature, I am easy going and I will be happy to fulfill requests if time is available for me to do so. If you would like to make a request for an icon, header, friends only banner or other graphics for livejournal, please leave a message in the 'Graphics on Request' post.
Please try to be as detailed as possible when explaining what you’d like.

All requests for graphics will be addressed in the ordered they were received and as time allows. Contrary to popular belief, I DO have a real life outside this journal. I have personal obligations, responsibilities and work related clients who will always come before non-compensated work. Sorry if this offends you, but I have to pay the bills somehow. And I’ve noticed in the past that the utility companies do not accept payments in any forms other than 'legal tender'. O_o

Graphic Rules

Rules(TOS):

I ask that proper credit be given to me for my work. In most cases, I will do request work for single icons and 'simple' graphics for free as long as proper credit is given.
For personally customized icon packages or complete journal design elements, I would graciously accept and appreciate compensation for my work if you so choose (small gift payments for time or icon storage on my account(s) here at livejournal is inexpensive and almost always a good option :)
Or, if you absolutely love my work or are feeling particularly giving and want to ‘donate to the cause’ ;) ...

**Other arrangements will be made if you require complete web design for your website outside of the journaling arena.

For all Icons: Give credit in the keywords/comments to paisleymoon.
For other Graphics: Credit must be given in your userinfo/profile bio.
If you're using my icons at another journal site you must give credit in your keywords to paisleymoon @ lj. (Not crediting is a violation of copyright)

Do not alter my icons or any other graphics I create unless I say it’s ok first. If I have created something personally for you and you would like something changed, let me know. I can usually make these changes for you. If you fall in love with something I create for ‘public use’ .. make a request and I can usually customize something similar for your personal use.

Always comment and let me know which graphics you are taking. I use your comments and feedback to decide what is popular and what styles I should continue using.

Do not redistribute my icons or any other graphics. This means do not post them on your website/other places for other people to use.

Do NOT direct link or ‘hotlink’ to my graphics. Save what you are going to use to your computer and upload them to your own server. I can not afford to pay for your bandwidth. If I discover any hotlinks, you may discover a ‘surprise’ graphic, or at the least, one of those cute little red ‘x’s’ in it’s place.

**I am in the process of creating a page on my personal website for journal icons I make for public use. This way, I will not be a slave to the storage and bandwidth constraints put on me by photobucket. (This does not mean you can hotlink to images on my website … please see above rule) I will add the address here for that page in the near future.

I hate to be a hard ass, but again, anyone stealing my graphics or found to be otherwise breaking my rules/terms of service (TOS) as detailed above will be reported and/or dealt with accordingly.

Fine Print:
I reserve the right to change, amend and/or add to the above rules as necessary. It will be your responsibility to read, understand and follow my rules.

Last words:
Sorry, but I can not help you with all the different journal style overrides. I am still in the process of learning them myself.
